Welcome to the world of Lightgraphs

Take a moment in time looking into a Lightgraph - and relax. The motion takes you away from the office environment, moving you into a world of nature where the colors stimulate your senses. Then the balance of the art gently calms. The more you look, the more you can relieve your stress.

"I imagine being an impressionistic artist and recording the special atmosphere of a landscape in the traditional way of Monet or Turner - but with my camera," said artist Ramona du Houx. "The results I call Lightgraphs. It is my hope that you will find these photographic prints uplifting and that they will ease the tension of your working day."

"In the photos impressionistic scenes swirl. Branches fly like arrows of light. Stalks of wheat appear to be dancing in a summer breeze. A waterfall, catching the reflection of red-brown trees, shimmers like dyed silk," said Lynn Ascrizzi in the Central Maine Newspaper's special art section.

"There is music and movement in du Houx's photographs," said Anne Geller of the Franklin Journal.

Photographic artist Ramona du Houx is available for location photography, if you wish your personalized Lightgraph of your favorite scene in nature. The technique, developed in 1979, is unique in the world of photographic art.
